General

All convention rules must be followed. |
| 2. |
In order to attend the retreat, you must be at least 22 years old or have already graduated from college. |
| 3. |
Registration for single-day attendance is not permitted. |
| 4. |
Individuals must be registered participants of the Chicago Fall Retreat in order to be on the resort grounds. |
| 5. |
No refunds can be offered after October 16, 2011 due to the resorts policy. |
| 6. |
We cannot offer refunds to anyone registering or attending the retreat in violation of the established rules. |
| 7. |
In contrast to other conferences we host, we are not providing organized transportation for this retreat. If you need transportation, you can email us at midwestconvention@gmail.com and we will try to help you arrange transportation, but we cannot make any guarantees. Ultimate responsibility to arrange transportation rests with you. We highly recommend using the Facebook page to request rides from other attendees. |
Housing
| 1. |
The hotel will be the meeting place for all attendees. Assigned room accommodations will only have those designated participants within the rooms. |
| 2. |
Occupants will be held financially responsible for any damages to the room occupied. |
| 3. |
Long distance phone calls can only be made through the use of credit and phone cards. |
| 4. |
Absolutely no co-ed roommates will be allowed with the exception of married couples |
| 5. |
Individuals who are not registered to participate in the retreat are not permitted on the resort grounds. Should participants in a given room allow a non-registered individual to spend the night in their room, all individuals in that room will be dismissed without a refund of the registration fee. |
Attire
| 1. |
Modest attire is required at all times. Please bring appropriate clothes for the meetings, sports, and leisure activities. |
| 2. |
NO SHORTS OR SLEEVELESS TOPS are allowed during the meetings or liturgies. |
Attendance
| 1. |
Attendance at all liturgies, lectures and events is expected. |
| 2. |
Cellular phones and pagers must be turned off during scheduled activities. |
| 3. |
Retreat attendees MAY NOT bring outsiders to the hotel who are not registered with the retreat. |
| 4. |
As this retreat is focused on graduates and young professionals, we cannot accommodate children at this retreat. We do not offer babysitting services and children will not be permitting in the conference room during lectures. If you are looking for a conference that accommodates children, we invite you to consider attending one of our family retreats. |
Behavior
| 1. |
No smoking or consumption of alcoholic beverages will be allowed. |
| 2. |
Please remember this is a Christian retreat and as such you are expected to act accordingly. |
Adhering to the above rules will guarantee a retreat with the utmost in spiritual benefits.PLEASE NOTE: Any disorderly conduct that limits the other participants' right to enjoy a spiritual retreat will be dealt with immediately.
